Welcome to Advanced Casting Ltd

Investment & precision casting (lost wax) offers greater freedom of design than other forms of casting or metal forming. The process gives significant cost savings through casting near net shapes with excellent surface finish. In many instances the casting requires little or no machining. Through various coring methods investment casting can produce complicated internal features. By working with the customers designers solutions can be found to reduce the weight of the casting.

History

Advanced Casting was formed in 1978 as a specialist development foundry. It’s primary work was to develop production methods for new and difficult castings before passing them on to the larger foundries in the UK for production. In 1991 it was decided to develop production capability and the factory was expanded with the addition of a robotic and air-conditioned shell room. There has been continuous investment in equipment as the company has grown to a £4 million plus turnover. Many complicated and difficult parts have been developed and produced for the oil & gas, power generation and medical devices markets.
